Question: What should go into my welcome packet?

I am an Independent Consultant for Arbonne. If you were interested in my business, what would you like to receive for information or gifts?
Arbonne is a Swiss skincare company. They are 100% botanically based. Offering skincare lines in anti-aging, baby, men's and women's skin care as well as diet products and hormone balancing creams. They have some wonderful products!

Answer: I'm unfamiliar with Arbonne, however I am some experience in marketing makeup or skin care businesses. I would suggest you put:

• info about the company,
• how it got started,
• how long it's been around,
• what the company stands for/represents/makes them unique,
• a list of products and prices, and
• some samples like maybe some lotion or something that can be sealed and not splatter if accidentally punctured.

And depending on who you're giving it to and for what reason (bankers, yes, investors, yes, customers, no) you might want to include:

• how you get paid,
• what percentage of the profits you get to keep,
• your overhead, if/how you ship,
• do you accept Internet/Ebay orders, etc.
