Question: How long would chopped veggies last in a tupperware container?

I love eating omelets loaded with veggies, but hate cutting the veggies every time I eat one. If I was to take a big Tupperware container and chop up a ton of fresh veggies (Like peppers, onions, mushrooms, etc.) and refrigerate, how long could I expect them to stay fresh?

Answer: You can keep them in a container for well over a week. However, I have a suggestion ... I'm a vegetarian so I often need a great number of veggies on hand, ready to roll ... I blanch veggies (this process only takes about 3 minutes, tops), chop them up in the size I prefer for my omelets and other common meals, toss them into a ziploc freezer bag, press out the air and toss them in the fridge. When I'm about to make my breakfast, I pour out the amount I need, put them in a strainer and run them under hot water until they are thawed (or microwave for a minute, then strain) and toss them into the mix.

Question: Anyone selling gourmet food such as Tastefully Simple, Homemade Gourmet, Two Sisters?

If so, which company is best, are you making real money at it or are supplies depleting your commissions? Any advice would help.
These are home party direct selling companies. Tastefully Simple is based out of Alexandria Minnesota, Homemade Gourmet is based out of Texas, and Two Sisters is owned by PartyLite company.

Answer: I am a TS (Tastefully Simple) consultant. The commission is 36%, which means I very seldom make less than $100 a show. The product is sent directly to the customer, so I don't have to do any running. I don't keep any inventory at the house for consumers. I do have samples that I keep because I have to take samples with me to the parties as well as the host has samples that he/she has to make for the party. When I take cake as a sample, I would purchase the product, make the cake and freeze it. I would only use it as needed, so most of the cakes last for at least 3 parties.
