Question: Anyone know how to cook a whole chicken in a pampered chef stone 14 cup rectangular baker?
I am fixing a whole chicken in a pampered chef rectangular baker and i have never done this before so im looking for someone to tell me just how i would go about this.
Answer: I use mine all the time for roasting chickens!
How many lbs is your bird? I usually cook smaller 5-6 lbs birds at 425 for the first 40 minutes (covered with foil) then reduce heat to 375 and cook until done (40 or so more minutes? Until the juices run clear when you cut between the thigh and breast) with the foil off. Should turn out perfectly! Enjoy.

Question: What is your most treasured keepsake/momento?
What is your most prized keepsake and why? Describe it if it is something unusual.
Mine is a large book my mom made me of our family history. It has so many pictures of past generations, marriage certificate, death certificates, military records, property records, and our family tree dating back to the 1700's. I can't believe the amount of work she poured into this and it is amazing to see the history of how your family morphed into the current times. I wouldn't take anything for it!
Answer: Well- I'll doubt that any one can top your favorite keepsake.
You answered your own question.
But let me share my favorite memento anyway: My mother used to write to me on pink air mail paper. I never threw any letters out, but I didn't carefully file them either. When she died, suddenly those pink letters became very valuable to me.
I discovered one of those letters that I had stashed into a drawer and found as I pulled it out, it tore. A bottle of glue had oozed out and stuck a tiny piece of that paper to the bottom of the drawer. When I
pulled that tiny speck of paper out it had only one word on it!
"Heart"
It was as if my mother was telling me: "take heart"
I keep that snippet of paper folded up inside a locket that my mother gave to me just before I left for the United States. I treasure that
snippet of paper very much indeed.
